Last Sunday, I met up with Em in SF for an all-day outing.

Our first stop was the beautiful Columbarium. The personalised niches brought tears to our eyes, especially the niches of couples. We spent a moment at the memorium for Harvey Milk, and I placed a penny on his niche's ledge. As tempting as it was, I didn't take any pictures of the niches out of respect.

Lunch was at Pot de Pho. This was my first time eating restaurant pho, and I was not disappointed! We both had medium bowls of pho with rare steak, but I had well-done shank added to mine. I ate the meat first, so I could savour the noodles at the end. Em did the exact opposite.

Then, we did some shopping. We tried on armfuls of clothes at Anthropologie and at Jeremy's. I ended up purchasing a skirt at each store. Em scored a Yoana Baraschi dress at Jeremy's for $24!

By the way, this is how I looked in my regular clothes in a fitting room at Anthro:

By the way, I purchased the Nathalie Lété Paris cream and green skirt that's hanging behind me on the right-hand side of the picture.

Em gave me two tops and a dress, which are now too big for her. While at Anthro, I changed out of my trusty teal cardi into a cool hand-me-down burgundy Deletta top, which fit like a glove.

Yeah, if it fits me fine, then it's definitely baggy on Em!

Oh, I purchased the Edme & Esyllte cream and green skirt that's hanging behind me on the right-hand side of the picture.

Yep, I purchased two cream and green skirts!

Somewhere along the way, we had tacos at Mijita. I indulged in a cadillac margarita made with Siete Leguas.

We browsed Macy's Union Square mostly to gawk at ugly handbags, then we met up with Em's fiance Dave at Burger Bar. That place makes the best veggie burger I've ever had!

Rachel graced SJ with her presence this past weekend. And what did we do for fun on Saturday? Go to Santana Row.

H&M used to be my favourite store at Santana Row, but, now, it's Anthropologie.

I tried on the Falling Tiers cardigan, the Green Thumb skirt, and the Splendid Celebration skirt.





I ended up buying just the Falling Tiers cardigan because it was love at first sight.

Rachel tried on the Secret Treasure dress. So pretty!


Dresses with pockets are made of all sorts of awesome!

I'm waiting and fading and floating away.

I stepped out of my comfort zone a little bit by not pairing the usual black shoes with my mostly black outfit.

This photo was taken by my coworker Maria right after we got off work. I look so friggen tired and drained because I really was friggen tired and drained. Going to bed at 2am and waking up five hours later can do that to a person. I was so out of it that I couldn't even stand up straight.

The embroidery on this skirt is lovely.

Maria and I then went off to Sear's at the nearby mall for a little retail therapy. There was plenty of fitting room time, and we both bought sandals that were on clearance for $2.98.

I tried on a teal ruffled sleeveless top and a shiny polyester skirt with my trusty cardi. I liked the outfit but wasn't jazzed enough to buy the pieces. Yep, I was tired all right.

September 10, 2009 -- I got a date with the night.

Because I had some time to kill before going to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs show in Oakland, my coworker Maria and I indulged in a little retail therapy at New York & Co. at the nearby mall.

I ended up buying nothing, but it sure was fun trying on clothes.

I'm talking on the phone with my lil bro about seeing a local production of 'Spamalot'.


Of course, I had to try on a teal top!


I actually tried on a baggy sweater that wasn't black.

I met up with Rachel and her downstairs neighbour Jason at the venue in Oakland, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs rocked our world!
