we've got stars directing our fate

This is how I looked on Thanksgiving, Nov. 22:

cardigan: Papaya......tank top: H&M......jeans: DKNY Jeans, thrifted at Savers

shoes: PacSun, gift from my brother

I knew there was no point in wearing my usual skinny jeans on Thanksgiving, so I sported these bootcut jeans instead.

Brian and I brought a prime rib roast to my family's place as our contribution to the huge Thanksgiving dinner. My sister made the sides and dessert. Uhm, yes, Paula Deen's pumpkin gooey butter cake is the best holiday dessert ever.

better late than never

The last week of December 2011 was the week I made an effort to wear something other than pjs after work.

A t-shirt and pajama pants are what I immediately change into when I come home because wearing a suit and tights for 8 hours + driving time can be very trying. Wait, hold on. Come to think of it, I do make a lazy effort to dress socially acceptable on nights of Sharks home games. By socially acceptable, I mean my huge #3 Murray teal jersey over layers and layers of clothes and boots.

Anyway, here's how I looked on 12-27-11:


I'm using an orange binder clip to keep my sweater shut, by the way.

I'm okay with being seen in public in this outfit. It's what I wear for when I go on walks. The kind of walks where I do random interpretive dance moves depending on what Kylie song plays on my first generation iPod Nano. Yeah. Those kind of walks.
