It's more than a feeling when I hear that old song they used to play.

On Sept. 10, Brian and I arrived in Boston. Because we were on a red-eye flight, the plane landed at around 5:30 a.m. Yes, in the morning. We tried to check in early at the hotel a little before 7:00 a.m., but there was a high fee for doing so. So, instead, we walked along the beautiful waterfront.

This is how I looked in the early a.m. on Sept 10, after being on a 7-hour red-eye flight:

One can imagine how truly exhausted we were. We wandered around Boston for almost five hours!

We headed back to the hotel when 12-noon rolled along. As soon as we got to the hotel room, we passed out on the bed.

  1. I had to do that when I flew into SF... we "checked in" and left our luggage but couldn't get into our room until like 2 and we were there at maybe 6am. We walked the city and were like zombies! We totally passed out as soon as we got to the room. Ugh!

  2. That is the worst way to kick off a vacation! Seriously!
